Dear Families and Community Members,
Thank you for visiting our school website! We are excited to kick off the new school year! I'm embarking on my 4th year at Valle Lindo Elementary, and I couldn't be prouder of the amazing staff and students we have. For those of you who don't know me, let me introduce myself. I am going on my 16th year in education in Chula Vista. I was a 2nd grade, 5th grade, and Resource teacher at Finney Elementary. I was also an Associate Principal at Salt Creek Elementary. Besides working with elementary students for several years, I am also a mother of three children. As a parent, I can understand how difficult the pandemic situation has been on us all. I'm hopeful that this year will continue to bring back some of the normalcy our school community is accustomed too. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know you and your family. Please don't hesitate to come up and say "hi" whenever you see me!
Our teachers and staff have been working hard to make sure this school year is the best yet. Our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is working hard to plan several school and community events. Parents are a vital part of their student's academic success, and we need your support now more than ever! Parents can participate at our school by getting involved with our School
Site Council (SSC), attending the English Language Advisory Committee
(ELAC) meetings, and volunteering through our Parent
Teacher Organization (PTO). Parents are invited to participate in

Communication is very important to me. In general, I have an "Open Door" Policy, meaning if my door is open, I'm usually available to talk to you.
